Mazen: Our team, our projects
So yeah, it’s done, we now have our corporate website, presenting our product and Mazen’s future features. We are very exited to start showing our value proposition to our early adopters. After only 1 week, more then 300 subscribers are now ready to try Mazen as soon as we’ll deliver the beta.
Our team has been working on this project for 5 months, after Stéphane and Mehdi, CTO and CEO, came back from a travel to San Francisco and NYC. This travel’s target was to figured out the most important problems faced by SEO specialists. We asked hundreds of questions to 65 SEO specialists, in order to figure out the general workflow of SEO people. And we figured out that they were all wasting a huge part of their time, juggling with excel sheets, CMS and SEO software.
In december, Mazen’s team decided to imagine a way to make this workflow easier, and bring in only 1 screen (not 1 software : 1 screen) all the SEO workflow. By the end of december, we found the solution, and started to test it with SEO specialists in France and in NYC.
In january, we started working with a US webagency, so they could help us design precisely each screen. Their specialist of UI and UX worked with our product owner, our customers, and our UX and frontend developper during 7 weeks to finally find the best graphic interface, thats is to say, the simplest.
Meanwhile, our semantic researcher developped a keyword suggest tool that goes beyond the limits of other SEO tools, bringing in1 interface suggestions from Adwords, Google suggests and our own knowledge graph.
In France, Mazen’s expertise was already recognized thanks to the success of our SEO for begginers software, “Optimiz.me”. A governmental association, Business France, selected our startup to take part to an acceleration program called ImpactUSA, from april to Juin 2017.
